I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and this year will mark my 31st year of teaching. The majority of my teaching experience has been in third grade and I am so excited for the opportunity to work with second graders again this year!
My husband and I moved from Omaha to Austin with our four children in 2000. Our children are products of Round Rock ISD, three of them McNeil graduates and one a Round Rock HS graduate. Our oldest son graduated from Texas A&M and is an engineer in Houston. Our oldest daughter graduated from The University of Texas and went on to Physician Assistant School. She is a family medical PA-C in Round Rock. Our youngest daughter graduated from Texas A&M and is a pediatric ICU nurse in Houston. Our youngest son is just starting his freshman year at UT, majoring in chemical engineering.
My teaching philosophy is that high expectations result in high achievement, and that learning should be relevant. I try to maintain this ideal in all our activities. I love teaching and I want your child to love learning.
